Windmill Wood MTB Trails
Design & concept development of a 3km trail system in Windmill Wood Park, Dungannon, Northern Ireland.
Client: Outdoor Recreation Northern Ireland and Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council.
This scheme was part of the EU funded EARLS Project, a major peace and reconciliation initiative to encourage positive community interaction.
The design work included:
- Site assessment
- Design stage, design risk assessment and method statements
- Trail design & full specifications
- Shared use trail
- Blue grade MTB trail
- Alignment with the parks path network
- Cyclo cross course layout and technical features
