CA are a specialist design and consultancy company - We specialise in cycle tracks and trails, of all types: MTB trails, pump tracks, flow trails, skills areas, all ability trails, shared use and traffic free trails, bike parks and freeride areas. Beyond the dirt and tarmac, we offer consultancy for adventure tourism, the consultancy and business development services that naturally developed off the back of our trail design work and life long participation in outdoor pursuits.

  7. Experienced - We started commercial trail design in 1992 in Coed y Brenin, North Wales. We founded the Wales MTB Trail Managers Forum to raise standards of trail design, construction and management, chairing for 7 years. Our motivation has and always will be, to build the best, built right, in the right place, for the right user group, without trashing our precious natural resources - we entirely support IMBA’s trail development philosophy “to create, enhance and protect great places to ride mountain bikes”

  8. Insurance - we hold specific (not landscape gardening cover or groundworks cover) professional insurance for trail design, mini wheels facilities, pump tracks, mtb trails, feasibility studies, CDM, consultancy - crucially for use by both adults and children.

  9. Liability and risk management - We carry out designer duties under CDM to the letter, on every project, evidenced by a time served and developed paper trail. This protects both ourselves and our clients and forms the backbone of our risk reduction and risk management strategy for our clients.

  10. UK SSIP Safety Accreditations - We are the only UK trail design company with Construction Line - Trail Design Accreditation (Silver). We also hold CHAS Accreditation - Premium Member - Design & Construction.
