COED Y BRENIN MINORTOUR

Design of a new 11 km exemplar blue graded MTB trail at the iconic Snowdonia based Coed y Brenin MTB Trail Centre. New sections designed, included:

  • 14 New sections of blue trail
  • 1 Red graded trail upgrade
  • 2 Red graded trails, re designed
  • 1 All ability shared use section

Part of the successful £1.7m Meirionnydd  Centre of Excellence bid.

This trail was the catalyst that delivered a significant increase in visitor numbers from an entirely new customer base of beginner, intermediate and family riders to the trail centre. The skills area and blue trail assisted the centre in being award a Visit Wales Gold Visitor Attraction Award in 2015.
