Cannock new red grade MTB TRAIL SECTION
Design contract in partnership with local volunteer trail building crew Chase Trails. To design and build a new red grade section of MTB trail for the final descending section of the Follow The Dog trail at Birches Valley MTB Visitor Centre on Cannock chase in Staffordshire. Design work included:
- Partnered approach with Chase Trails & FCE
- Development of the brief and frame of reference
- Site assessment
- CDM & H&S
- Design stage, design risk assessment and method statements
- Risk management
- Trail design and on site setting out
- Produced BOQ's and construction specifcations
- Mapping & GIS
