14 KM BLUE GRADE MTB TRAIL SYSTEM DESIGN
Design contract for a new 11 km blue graded MTB trail system at Nant yr Arian MTB Trail Centre in Mid Wales, commissioned by Forestry Commission Wales. The contract included initial feasibility, concept and master planning. Design work included:
Site evaluation & assessment
Design stage, design risk assessment and method statements
User & local stakeholder consultation
Design of 14 new sections of blue graded MTB trail
3 re-designed red grade MTB trail sections
Design of 1 shared use section
Costed project plan
Design included all users including all ability bike users and mountain bikers
Consultation with planning authority
Consultation with ecologists
Design documents, BOQ's and construction specifications
